Orwell House obtained its Care Quality Commission registration in August 2006.

The Care Quality Commission(CQC) no longer awards star ratings, but monitors care providers against a set of essential standards of quality and safety, which Orwell House fully meets.

Orwell House met all the essential standards of quality and safety reviewed by the CQC at the latest review of July 2011.
