Our Home Manager, Mrs. Tania Thompson, is responsible for the overall running of Orwell House. Tania is also our Director of Care Services and is responsible for all of our care homes.

She is a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a Higher Diploma in the Management of Care Services.

Tania specializes in dementia care with a 1-year nationally recognized diploma level qualification entitled ‘An Emotional Journey’ and is currently undertaking a BSc in Dementia Studies at the Bradford University Faculty of Health.

An experienced Home Manager herself, Tania has a wide range of professional and workplace skills and is a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Assessor.
